I can’t remember my credentials, what can I do?

If you can’t remember your password, click on “Forgotten password?” and enter the email address you used to create your account.

You will be sent an email containing your sign-in and a new randomly generated password. When you are signed back into your Proto-Electronics.com account, you will be asked to enter your new personal password.

How can I change my password and/or sign-in?

Once connected to your Proto-Electronics.com account, go to the “My Account” tab. You will then be able to change your sign-in and/or password at will. After making the changes, don’t forget to save them! You can also resend yourself an “account validation email” which will contain your new sign-in and password.

Can I enter several addresses on my account (invoicing, delivery…)?

Yes.
Proto-Electronics.com will request a first address when you create your user account. That address will be your invoice address. You can change it at all times.
You will then be able to enter other addresses on our web site. To do so, go to the “My Account” tab, then “My Address Book”: you will then be able to add as many additional addresses as you need.
When you validate your quotes and place an order, you will then be able to select your delivery address from the list you entered previously.

I can’t find a component on your web site, what should I do?

Proto-Electronics.com is interconnected with the four biggest suppliers: RS, Farnell, Digikey and Mouser.
There is therefore a wide choice of guaranteed available components on our site. If you still can’t find a component, you have two possibilities: either you supply it and have it shipped to us, or you request a quote for the component and we will deal with your request as quickly as possible.

A PCB specificity that is essential to my project is not available on your web site, what should I do?

The Proto-Electronics.com web site offers the PCBs requested most often by its customers. However, if you need a specific PCB (flex, semi-rigid, stacked vias…), feel free to contact us about it directly by email, livechat or phone us at +44 1202 006012.

When will I receive delivery?

Proto-Electronics.com proposes five delivery lead times depending on your budget and your scheduling constraints:

  • Urgent: D+5* working days
  • Rapid: D+8 working days
  • Standard: D+12 working days
  • Economic: D+15 working days
  • Super-eco: D+20 working days
    *depending on your project options and specifics.

Each project has a delivery date and a price so that you have a very accurate view of your delivery schedule. All you have to do is to choose the lead time most suited to your needs and then place your order. All our lead times are guaranteed.

Is the personal data I entered when I created my account confidential?

Proto-Electronics.com guarantees the privacy and protection of all your personal data. Only authorised persons can access your data. This requirement is one of the cornerstones of our company.

Is the data I enter about my PCB prototypes on Proto-Electronics.com secure?

Proto-Electronics.com guarantees the confidentiality and protection of all data relating to your PCB projects.
Only authorised persons have access to this data.
This requirement is one of the cornerstones of our company. If you nevertheless require additional guarantees to protect your data, we can sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

How can I pay for my orders?

  • Either you pay directly online using a debit or credit card (Visa, EuroCard / MasterCard).
    The navigation is secure to guarantee that your bank account data is fully protected.
  • Or you can choose to pay with a proforma invoice. Your Proto-Electronics.com invoice will be sent to you directly by email (in .PDF format) when you order. Our bank details are on the invoice. You can pay us directly by bank transfer or cheque before we ship the PCBs.

Do you offer a PCB design assistance service?

No. Proto-Electronics.com is a platform that provides live quotes for your PCBA prototypes and allows you to order them online. Create your project online and we will produce your PCB prototypes (with or without wiring) using the files you send to our platform.
You will receive your prototypes within the deadline you choose when you place your order.
If, however, you need assistance in designing your PCBs, feel free to contact us. Our teams will be happy to put you in touch with some of our partners who can help you design your PCBs.

Are the prices for orders on Proto-Electronics.com genuinely interesting?

Proto-Electronics.com has already negotiated component prices for you with the four biggest global suppliers. Raw material costs are therefore optimised. Furthermore, order processing time is reduced to a minimum thanks to our online order processing. Our labour costs are also optimised. We can therefore offer you highly competitive prices for top quality products and services!
